Indications:
Indolent wounds
Corn and callus removal (podiatry)
Gonorrheal ophthalmia neonatorum prophylaxis
Contraindications:
Application to wounds or broken skin
Precautions:
Application will discolor skin and clothing.
For external use only (except ophthalmic solution)
Adverse Reactions (Side Effects):
Local irritation at application site.
Dosage:
Administered topically or ophthalmically
Topical:
Ointment: Apply to pad, then apply to affected areas for 5 days
Solution: Apply to a cotton swab, then apply to affected areas two to three times a week for two to three weeks
Ophthalmic:
Immediately following birth, use 2 drops per eye and allow approximately 30 seconds of contact
